Aims and Scope

Indonesian Journal of Science, Technology and Society (IJSTS) focuses on the study of science and technology within a social context. It explores how scientific and technological developments influence society, and how society, in turn, shapes the direction and impact of science and technology.

IJSTS is a peer-reviewed and interdisciplinary journal that draws on approaches from various fields, including history, sociology, philosophy, economics, political science, international relations, science and innovation policy, technology management, environmental studies, energy studies, and gender studies.

The journal seeks to integrate academic perspectives with policy-relevant discussions related to development. ISTS accepts only research articles and review articles written in Indonesian or English.

The papers that meet the requirements will be published and freely available (open access) under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0).
